Risk Assessment Training

GOAL:
Risk Assessments provide a structured way of looking at risks and help create a plan of
action to deal with them. The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations
1999 require Risk Assessments to be completed by all employers and self-employed
people.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • What are the hazards?
  • Who is doing what, where & when? (WWW)
    AND
  • Who else might be affected by what is done?
  • What is the degree of risk?
  • What do we need to, or can we, do to control (eliminate/minimize) exposure to the
    risk?
  • How will we monitor the work/people?

•Module One: Understanding the principles and practicalities of risk assessment
•Module Two: Understanding risk evaluation
•Module Three: Selecting control measures
•Module Four: Implementing control measures
•Module Five: Monitoring and reviewing

COURSE DURATION:
1 DAY (4-5 hours per day)
