  • Safe access and egress points

Module 3: Soil & Ground Stability

  • Types of soil and their impact on excavation safety
  • Slope angles, shoring, benching, and shielding techniques
  • Monitoring ground conditions and weather impact
  • Recognizing signs of instability

Module 4: Safe Work Practices

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Equipment and machinery safety
  • Traffic and pedestrian management near excavation sites
  • Material storage and handling

Module 5: Emergency Preparedness & Incident Management

  • Emergency response plans for excavation incidents
  • Rescue procedures for trench collapses

Module 6: Case Studies & Practical Exercise
