Effective risk assessment requires an inspection of the workplace to identify potential risks that could cause harm. As part of the risk assessment, it will then be determined whether sufficient controls are in place to minimize these risks.

Assessment method

The qualification is assessed by multiple-choice question (MCQ) examination. Successful learners will have to achieve a minimum pass mark of 9 correct answers (60%).Learners who achieve a pass mark of 12 (80%) correct answers or above will achieve a Merit.
